John, I think I must have been your last student. You were not well for our last lesson, the day before your 80th, and shortly before your wedding, and my cards of congratulations and Christmas I guess you never saw. I was practicing your songs today, picking up the accordion after a pause, and as I struggled through a new song in Book 2 I thought, "John will show me how to do this". And that made me cry. I shall learn it, don't worry, and all the rest. Just keep listening, and I will try not to make you wince too often. Thank you for the inspiration, Jeff
