My First Accordion Lesson

Created by Martin 2 years ago

I remember in the early 80's getting the 266 bus from Harlesden down to Cricklewood Broadway, then walking up Cricklewood lane for my first accordion lesson. My teacher was a young man who I think was called Guisseppe.  John Leslie made me most welcome and sold me a Crucianelli accordion which I still own.  His daughter had just been born and it was a bit manic in the house.

Needless to say I stopped playing due to work commitments, however now that I am retired and living in West Wales I have picked up my old accordion and am now back playing AND loving it.  Lovely memories from a lovely era.

Fond memories of Criclewood lane

Best Wishes. Martin Power
